A first for Tigard, River Terrace Town Center Community Park, recently re-named Blueberry Hill Park, is a developer-built Community Park. PCD provided support for all portions of the project, and our Landscape Architecture team worked closely with the City and The New Home Company to provide a high-quality product.
We teamed up to provide amenities including pickleball courts, adding to the City’s rapidly growing pool of spaces for the expanding sport, a large and small dog park, basketball courts, an amphitheater, and over 2.5 miles of trails.
Positioned along River Terrace Boulevard and close to the new multi-use River Terrace Town Center, this park serves as a go-to gathering place for residents and visitors alike.
PCD had an intentional focus on placing amenities that are not only good for local residents, but also support lingering visits from the surrounding neighborhoods, community gatherings, and creating an inviting destination. This design creates a place where you can come to shop and then stay a while to enjoy the park and natural features of the area.
